Four things, done by one office.
South Shore Eye Associates is not trying to be a superstore. It does four things, the same four things since 1981, and the same team handles all of them: your exam, your glasses, your contacts, and your children's eyes, in the building on Depot Street.
Fitted in the same room as your exam, by the people who just checked your eyes. Pupillary distance, segment height and frame tilt, measured properly. Adjustments stay free for as long as you are a patient here.
More on eyeglassesA contact lens fitting is its own appointment, not a footnote to a glasses prescription. Daily disposables, monthlies, toric lenses for astigmatism, and specialty lenses for corneas that need more care than a standard lens allows.
More on contact lensesA first exam recommended between six and twelve months, then annually through the school years. We watch for the alignment and focusing problems a school vision screening was never built to catch.

Not sure which one you need? Call and tell us.
A lot of visits turn out to be more than one of these at once, an exam that leads straight into new glasses, or a check on a child that turns into a family appointment. The person who answers the phone can usually tell you what to expect before you hang up.
