Eyeglasses & optical dispensary

Fitted by the people who just examined your eyes.

The optical dispensary shares the same room as the exam, so the person helping you choose frames already knows your prescription.

The fitting is not an afterthought.

Once your exam is done, the same team helps you choose frames from the styles in the dispensary. We measure the things that actually decide whether a pair of glasses works once you take them home: pupillary distance, segment height, and how the frame sits and tilts on your face. Get any of those wrong and a lens can be technically correct and still feel off. We would rather take the extra few minutes at the counter than have you back in a week.

Lens options worth knowing about

Beyond a basic single vision lens, we carry progressive, computer and office lenses, photochromic lenses that darken outdoors, anti-reflective coating, impact-resistant polycarbonate for kids, and myopia-management lens options. Not every pair needs all of it, and we will tell you honestly which upgrades are worth it for your prescription and which are not.

Adjustments are always complimentary, for as long as you are a patient here. Call (508) 238-8460.

Anti-reflective coating

Cuts glare off screens and headlights, and makes your eyes more visible behind the lens.

Impact-resistant polycarbonate

For kids, and for anyone who wants a lens that holds up to a drop or a stray ball.

Myopia management options

Lenses aimed at slowing how fast a child's nearsightedness progresses.
